I just got a used BM23 for a song on craigslist, and was pleased to find that the refrigeration was in good working order but the coupler was rusty and the hoses had seen better years. Got all-new SS coupler, 3/16" beer hose, 5/16" gas hose, and an all-steel faucet from MM only to find the faucet didn't fit the opening on the tower.
I know there have been some pretty extensive projects done on used BM23s in the past. I'm sure there have been more than a few faucet changes given the age and dubious history of these used commercial kegboxes. Has anyone run into this problem?
Did you just file a larger hole in the tower, get a new tower, or return the faucet?
