Does anyone have any vols of CO2 information on Kostritzer Schwarzbier ? It is considered a black lager. I just ordered a keg here in So Cal, but the only website I can find for them is in German, so I don't know how to email the brewmaster to ask.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

Eric Marshall himself from Marshall Brewing Company in Tulsa, OK replied to an email inquiry and stated that Marshall Old Pavilion Pilsners has 2.5-2.6 volumes of CO2.

Even a spread between 2.2 to 2.7 v/v is quite significant. Most breweries keep the spec. within a tenth on either side. Please call Todd back and attempt to get specific carbonation levels per brand.

So now AB standard line-up is 2.7 v/v? They bumped it up from 2.6 v/v?

Shock Top is 2.7 v/v per ABInbev Draught Team. Actually, all AB domestic products are now at 2.7 v/v across the board. One of these days Boston Beer will reply to emails on volumes spec. No idea on the last beer. Email brewery.

2.5 to 2.6 is the carbonation range..

Thanks for your inquiry. Our Dales Pale Ale is carbonated to 2.6 volumes for both the can and the kegs. Hope this info helps you keep as much of the nectar in the glass as you can, we really appreciate your business.
