I just got my new kenmore kegerator this week, and I had to break it in with a keg of Sam Adams boston lager. I have been drinking Sam out of bottles and now it is sweet not to have to run to the liquor store every week and pay $25 per case[]

Running my first two kegs this weekend. 1/6 of Dominion Pale Ale and 1/6 of Dominion Lager. The Pale is very good an all around session beer with enough body and hops to make it worth while. The Lager is a good standby beer for parties where you need to provide for your beer snob friends and the B/M/C brigade.

I'll see if the kegerator draws any more folks to this weeks poker game.

I don't know about favorites yet as I am running my first keg now, Sam Adams Summer, and it is great. I am looking forward to putting some Redhook in next and their Winterhook is one of my all time favorites, so I will be running that come the colder months.

Running a keg of Redhook ESB now and it is great. Ran through the 1/2 barrell of Sams Summer in 11 days. I did have some foaming issues I had to iron out but that was still fast.

Well, like I said, I did dump a bunch of beer due to foaming issues (so, so sad) and had a lot of help in the drinking. The ESB should last longer but have had lots of help so far on that one too.

Well, the ESB lasted a perfect month: 6/5-7/5, now back to another 1/2 of Sam Summer. So good.

Done with Sam Adams for the summer, dont go down too smooth with steamed crabs, going to be doing the coors lite and michelob lite thingy for awhile. []

The Dominion lasted exactly 3 weeks, I went with two Dogfish Head (60 Minute IPA and India Brown). Tasting mighty fine, though they're a bit slower going, I imagine because I haven't had a poker game in the interim.

Next up I think will be Brooklyn Pilsner and Victory Hop Devil. Down the line I'm signing up for the Harviestoun Bitter & Twisted, though I'm going to need a new coupler. Gotta keep micromatic.com in business.

FWIW (not much I know) put on a 1/2 barrel of Brooklyn Pilsner this weekend for an engagement party we had for the brother-in-law. I was wanting to run 2 sixtels but couldn't get what I wanted in time. As it was the kegerator went over a treat. Folks love good draft beer I'll tell you that.
